HESTON’S
MACROPLASTIC
FISH & CHIPS
GREENPEACE | PR Campaign
Award School 2023 • Best in Brief
Plastic has been found in the deepest and most remote parts of our ocean, and because it takes over 400 years to fully break down, the plastic produced today will be on earth long after the humans who created it.
Billions of tonnes of single use plastic is created every year, Greenpeace is calling for these global polluters to phase it out completely.
We reap what we sow.
We are introducing fish and chips that ingested plastic waste. We will set up a Heston pop-up restaurant where people can order gourmet fish and chips. When the fish is cut in half, the plastic waste collected from the ocean is revealed.
